In the paper a method of the three phase current harmonics observers configuration for selective detection of the distortions is proposed. The relationship between the observer tuning gains and the speed of the estimation preserving the selectivity properties is obtained. Simulation and experimental results confirm the theoretical findings and demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed solution for shunt active power filters with selective harmonics compensation.
