For the multi-channel receive system integrated by hundreds of TR microchips, it is difficult to measure the noise figure of one single branch by using a universal two-port analyzer, because the noise from all branches mixes with each other while all amplifiers power up simultaneously. This paper presents a novel measurement approach to tackle this problem, which features appending a power divider at the input ports and changing the attenuator two times to obtain the noise figure of one branch. With advantages such as high efficiency, small test errors and convenient operation, it promises perspective potential for extensive application.
