The processing of a pulse signal by a passive device is considered. A detailed analysis of the ultra-wideband (UWB) pulse propagation in two turns of meander microstrip line (MSL) connected in cascade is performed. The possibility of the UWB pulse decomposition in a meander MSL into a sequence of nine main pulses with 5.2 times attenuation is demonstrated. The conditions for such decomposition are determined and presented. A detailed description of each of the decomposition pulses at the end of the line under investigation is performed.
