This paper presents an original contribution for a timing and carrier recovery configuration to be used in the critical receiving conditions of a satellite modem. It is particularly focused for its operation in an antenna array receiver, due to its low complexity and good performance in low SNR and large Doppler frequency scenarios. Results show the possibility to recover frequency offsets of 25000 Hz (Δf·T ≅ 0.3) under SNR of 5 dB, showing a significant improvement as compared to traditional receivers configurations.
