This paper addresses the problem of multiple temperature probes calibration and recalibration for use in demanding medical application. The architecture of the overall calibration system is introduced and the mechanism of calibration data transfer with RFID tag is indicated. A high performance temperature regulation is crucial for the success of the proposed calibration setup. Since the implementation of advanced control mechanism can greatly benefit from an accurate modeling of the calibrator components, control architecture able to use this knowledge is introduced and the transfer functions of the main components are identified based on experimental data.
