The Solar PV power generation is becoming one of the leading renewable power generation systems in the world. This paper compares the change in efficiency of PV Panel for three different locations of India (Mathura, Ladakh and Bikaner) for some environmental conditions of same time and date. The PV panel is being integrated with boost converter to obtain the required voltage at the load side. By simulating the PV Panel Simulink model using PSIM, for different irradiance and temperature is done to test and observe the change in values of current, voltage and power both at the panel and at load. After obtaining these values change in efficiency will be noted for the existing panel. Based on above obtained values of performance parameters for the panel, effect of high cell temperature and irradiance is observed. The sizing of PV Panel and area required by it to produce 1kW of power will also be deduced from the values of performance parameters. Observations will be noted for different environmental conditions.
