This paper presents a circuit configuration of unidirectional isolated AC/DC converter and simple PWM strategy of isolated AC/DC converter for control of the primary voltage and the input currents, simultaneously. In the simple PWM strategy, the primary voltage reference and the primary current reference are approximated to the square AC waveform to obtain the duty cycles by simple calculations. The characteristics of the simple PWM strategy for the isolated AC/DC converter is confirmed by experiments.
