To regulate the yaw moment of distributed-drive electric vehicles, this study employs a hierarchical control framework. The upper level focuses on investigating and designing a model predictive controller for the yaw rate and slip angle. Meanwhile, the lower level establishes guidelines for distributing driving torque to each wheel. The simulation software was utilized to construct a model of the distributed-drive electric vehicle, and simulation experiments were conducted to validate the effectiveness of the control method. The findings indicate that the analysed technique for controlling yaw moment in distributed-drive electric vehicles can significantly enhance the vehicle's driving stability.
