This paper proposes a method of a high-voltage repetitive frequency pulsed laser power supply based on the series LC resonant topology. First, the working principle of the developed pulsed laser power supply is introduced. Then, the working process of the develop power supply and the parameters of the main circuit components are elaborated. The parameters of each component of the power supply according to the design requirements are determined. Finally, A 7.2 kW prototype is developed with a desired pulse with to investigate the feasibility of the design principle. The designed pulsed power supply is able to output maximum to 2.2 kV output voltage with a repetitive frequency ranged from 1 to 10Hz. Moreover, the developed power supply is capable to release up to 700 J of the energy on the xenon lamp.
