A broadband dual circularly polarized microstrip antenna with low profile is presented. The profile of the antenna is reduced by directly etching the patch antenna on the substrate block, and the circular polarization direction can be changed in a wide frequency band by feeding the antenna with 3dB bridge network. The proposed antenna has 51.0% impedance bandwidth (VSWR < 2) and 33.4% circularly polarized axial ratio bandwidth (AR < 3 dB). The final profile of the antenna is only 0.17 λ, and has good circular polarization radiation characteristics.
