The frequent misplacement of personal items like keys, wallets, and bags often leads to significant delays and impacts productivity adversely. Addressing this common issue, GoJejak, an IoT-based object tracking application, introduces a synergistic approach by integrating WiFi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technologies. This novel combination enables precise and efficient tracking of personal items. Users can easily attach tracker tags to their belongings and monitor their locations through a real-time updated map provided by the application. The integration of WiFi enables broad-range detection, while Bluetooth offers precise proximity tracking. Developed using the Agile methodology, this application leverages ESP32 and Arduino IDE, ensuring real-time tracking capabilities. The research addresses existing gaps in object tracking solutions by combining extensive coverage of WiFi with Bluetooth's precision. This synergistic approach marks a significant improvement over current methods predominantly using single-technology systems. Preliminary testing demonstrates GoJejak's efficacy in real-world scenarios, offering a user-friendly and reliable alternative to existing market options.
