Based on analyzing the characteristics of coupled micro strip lines, a design of RF micro strip band pass filter for WLAN is studied. This paper presents on band pass filter operating at center frequency of 2.4GHz with 240MHz bandwidth, which has been designed and fabricated. The results of full-wave electromagnetic simulation indicate that the filter shows a very good performance with insertion loss below 1.643dB and return loss better than-21.94dB in its pass band and stop band attenuation of less than-27.847dB. Measured results are in good agreement with the simulation results.
