Three-dimensional (3D) radar imaging of non-cooperative targets has become very attractive as it significantly improves the traditional two-dimensional radar imaging tech-nology. Drone-based radar systems offer a very flexible, easily deployable and low-cost solution for airborne radar imaging ap-plications. This paper presents the results of the first experiment in which 3D Interferometric Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (InISAR) technique has been implemented using a swarm of drones. The systems is composed of four radars, one transmitting and three receiving, installed on four drones. Drones were flying in a suitable formation to form a dual orthogonal baselines antenna configuration.
