This study compared the Many-to-One (MTO) Mapping algorithms and Hierarchical Distribution Matching (HiDM) algorithms under TPS-64QAM modulation for the first time. MTO exhibits better post bit error rate performance at low SNR compared to HiDM, but performs worse at high SNR. The comparison on the FPGA platform shows that MTO has approximately 1/13 of the power of HiDM.
