We compare the performance of BPS, VVPE+ML, KL and PCA+BPS in probabilistically-shaped systems with MB or quasi-MB (QMB) distribution, and show that QMB improves the performance of all methods and is most suitable to PCA+BPS. © 2021 The Author(s)
