Results of experimental investigation of characteristics of the disk resonator formed by the thin-wall dielectric cuvette filled with liquid and amorphous materials with small losses of electromagnetic energy in the millimeter waveband are presented. Study of extra-high frequency properties of some liquids including pure and used technical oils by means of such resonator is carried out. For the first time by example of paraffin wax and stearin the possibility of application of the resonator for investigation of dielectric parameters of media at their transition from one state of matter in another at temperature change is shown.
