In this study, a satellite communication system that utilizes terahertz (THz) frequencies and provides communication between satellite and ground station via multiple high altitude platform stations (HAPSs) is analyzed in terms of outage probability. The analysis includes pathloss, α-μ fading, the effects of pointing errors (PE) and hardware impairments (HI). In addition, the system performances are compared for cases where PE and HI effects are observed and not observed. The theoretical results are validated by computer simulations.
