A measuring technique is proposed for a capacitive-type sensor that has been developed to measure the density of dielectric powder gaseous suspensions. The basic principle of the proposed technique is to measure the variations of sensor capacitance by measuring the phase shift between voltage and current in a series RLC circuit tuned to resonance. Experimental results obtained with the technique are presented.ETX
