Overhead lines exposed in the air are prone to temporary faults. Fast and reliable fault recovery technology provides guarantee for hybrid DC transmission. In this paper, the characteristics of DC line current when the system restarts at different fault are analyzed in detail. Based on the influence of charging current and transition resistance, the current integral criterion is constructed. In this paper, the fault restart of LCC-MMC line is realized by current integral. The validity and reliability of the method are verified by simulation.
