Mismatched filtering can be used to suppress interference in radars when the characteristics of the interference are known. In case of co-existing radar and communication systems operating in a shared spectrum, the interference may vary very rapidly. Hence, designing a specific radar mismatched filter for interference suppression may be challenging. In this paper we propose a robust mismatched filter design that can mitigate a broad class of interference caused by non-cooperative spectrum sharing.
