Three anionic Nickel (bis-dithiolene) complexes have been conveniently synthesized by utilizing the neutral metal dithiolene complexes on the presence of triethylamine as a reductive reagent, and their physicochemical properties have been characterized. The results indicate that the new approach is suitable to prepare the ionic Nickel (bis-dithiolene) complexes.
