This paper provided a review of studies on the static welding phenomena of electrical contact materials,including the analysis of influential factors on static welding and the summary of experiment and theoretical investigation on static welding .Finally, suggestions were given for further studies aimed at decreasing the static welding force.Decreacing static welding can increase short-time withstand current and improve product quality .
