This paper focuses on the application of a multi-axis automatic control system for the “two-in-hand” configuration ITER PF6 winding line for the PF6 coil. The automatic control system is based on a Siemens Simotion D platform, which houses 16 servo motors and 68 interlocks. Tests are performed after the establishment of the hardware and debugging of the program. High precision and reliability are achieved, which demonstrated that the automatic control system satisfied the requirements of the PF6 coil double pancake winding.
