No. of bitstreams: 1 2019 - Raquel Antunes de Freitas Nunes.pdf: 1357087 bytes, checksum: 998e9948326a1df6e96ebf473a37406d (MD5) Previous issue date: 2019-07-03 CAPES - Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior This dissertation presents the vision of the students of the Superior Course of Technology in Environmental Management, of the Superior Course of Environmental and Sanitary Engineering and of the Technical Course in Environment integrated to the High School, of the IFMG Campus Governador Valadares on the presence of extensionist practice in the Institution and their contribution in complementing their professional and humanistic training. The reflection carried out here on extensionist practice is based on the dialogical interaction between the subjects involved in extensionist activities and their inseparability between teaching and research. Qualitative research was carried out using questionnaires, with open and closed questions, with the extension coordinator of the campus, with 24 students and 11 teachers connected to the courses. Field visits were also made with 3 students from the Superior course of Environmental and Sanitary Engineering who were developing an extension project with the local community. The data revealed the presence of the extensionist practice on campus, being developed through extension projects, mini-courses, workshops, science fairs, scientific initiation seminars, conversation wheels, technical visits, events and initial and continuing training courses. The extension activities of the campus play a significant role with students since they have been contributing to the improvement of their knowledge and professional training. They also revealed that students need to be prepared to deal with an extensionist practice based on the dialogical relationship seeking the integration between the academic community and the population around them. The institution needs to advance in relation to "university extension", providing the entire IFMG community with moments of debate and reflection on this subject in its various academic forms, carrying out the exchange of ideas, positions and knowledge among its peers so that all benefit from its real purpose that is the development and integral improvement of knowledge Esta disserta??o apresenta a vis?o dos estudantes do Curso Superior de Tecnologia em Gest?o Ambiental, do Curso Superior de Engenharia Ambiental e Sanit?ria e do Curso T?cnico em Meio Ambiente integrado ao Ensino M?dio do IFMG campus Governador Valadares sobre a presen?a da pr?tica extensionista na Institui??o e sua contribui??o na complementa??o da forma??o profissional e human?stica deles. A reflex?o aqui realizada sobre a pr?tica extensionista est? embasada na intera??o dial?gica entre os sujeitos envolvidos nas atividades extensionistas e na sua indissociabilidade entre ensino e pesquisa. Foi realizada pesquisa qualiquantitativa sendo utilizados como instrumentos de coleta de dados aplica??o de question?rio, com perguntas abertas e fechadas, com o coordenador de extens?o do campus, com 24 estudantes e 11 professores ligados aos cursos. Foram realizadas tamb?m visitas de campo com 3 estudantes do curso Superior de Engenharia Ambiental e Sanit?ria que estavam desenvolvendo projeto de extens?o junto ? comunidade local. Os dados revelaram a presen?a da pr?tica extensionista no campus, sendo desenvolvida por meio de projetos de extens?o, minicursos, oficinas, feiras de ci?ncias, semin?rios de inicia??o cient?fica, rodas de conversas, visitas t?cnicas, eventos e cursos de forma??o inicial e continuada. As atividades extensionistas do campus exercem fun??o significativa junto aos estudantes visto que v?m contribuindo, para o aprimoramento do conhecimento e forma??o profissional dos mesmos. Revelaram ainda, que os estudantes precisam ser preparados para lidar com uma pr?tica extensionista baseada na rela??o dial?gica buscando a integra??o entre comunidade acad?mica e a popula??o ao seu entorno.
