This zip-archive contains data, plots, andsoftware, usedinreconstructing the magnetospheric model magnetic field line configurations for the storm of Feb.3-4, 2022, presented in the JGRA article 2022JA031006 by N. A. Tsyganenko, V. A. Andreeva, M. I. Sitnov, and G. K. Stephens "Magnetosphere distortions during the `satellite killer' storm of February 3-4, 2022, as derived from a hybrid empirical model and archived data mining". Below is a list of files and folders with a brief explanation of their content and purpose. The subfolders S_mode, O_mode, and E_mode contain shielding coefficients for individual harmonics of the TS07 hybrid superstructure. The coefficients are needed as input for the magnetic field line plotting code Plot_lines.exe. The subfolder PAR_HYBR contains 96 model parameter files, corresponding to 96 UT moments of the storm, following at 30-min cadence from UT=00:00 of DOY 34 (Feb.3, 2022) through UT=23:30 of DOY 35 (Feb.4, 2022). Each of the 96 files contains 338 parameter values, including 312 coefficients of the TS07 superstructure, followed by 26 parameters of the TA15 modular component of the model. The subfolder PLOTTING_HYBR contains (i) 96 files with magnetic field line coordinates (generic names LINES_YYYY_DOY_hh_mm.DAT) and (ii) 96 corresponding files with numbers of points in each line. The files are created by the executable code Plot_lines.exe and then used as input for the IDL plotting code Lines_tail_2d_auto_v071622.pro. The folder Field_line_XZ_plots_HYBR contains 96 PostScript files with magnetic field line plots for 96 consecutive UT moments of the storm, created by the IDL plotting codeLines_tail_2d_auto_v071622.pro. The file Comparison_table_NN=40000_Manhmetric_ALPHA=04.dat is a subsidiary file, containing in particular the values of solar wind parameters and ground indices, used as input by the code Plot_lines.exe.
