In this study, the relationships between hand preference degree and right and left ear hearing times were investigated in high school students divided into groups according to their hand preferences. in order to determine hand preference Edinburg handedness inventory was used. A tuning fork with 128 Hz frequency and a digital chronometer were used to assess hearing time. There were positive lineer relationships between hand preference degree and both right and left ear hearing times in right-handed subjects. These relations were negative in left-handed ones. These findings have shown that both right and left ear hearing sensitivities increase as the hand preference degree increases in both right- and left-handed subjects.
