There is increasing research in the area of green human resource management. There is great need to integrate green concepts into Human Resource Management, called Green Human Resource Management. This review paper explores the challenges or problems that are being faced by companies while implementing green human resource management practices, then look in for factor affecting effective implementation of Green Human Resource Management practices in an organization. Further, this study also finds out the ways to successful implementation of Green Human Resource Management practices in an organization. This study motivates the companies to apply Green Human Resource Management practices by highlighting the positive outcomes that can be achieved by implementation of Green Human Resource Management practices. The research on Green Human Resource Management has been rising since 2008, but still there is a long way to go. So, studies related to Green Human Resource Management need to be done in developing countries like India.
