Nowadays radiation is widely used for cancer treatment. The linear accelerator devices used in clinics for this purpose show differences in terms of the application of radiation, but the treatment techniques they apply also contain differences according to each other. In this study, the results of 10 patients selected for four different cancer sites such as nasopharynx, prostate, glioblastoma multiforme and pancreas were examined with different linear accelerators, treatment planning systems related to them and intensity modulated radiotherapy plans with different techniques. Plans were made by trying to get the dose below the tolerance values of the critical organs while the target was taking the defined dose. The target dose (PTV) coverage was found in the best tomotherapy results for the nasopharynx, prostate and pancreas, while VMAT technique for glioblastoma multiforme was found. In terms of critical organs, each technique has shown different advantages in different organs. The results show similarities with the literature. In order to achieve the desired doses in the treatment, the monitor unit values of the device given were obtained from the highest to the lowest in tomotherapy, sliding window, step and shoot and VMAT techniques. While the shortest treatment time is achieved with the VMAT technique, which can perform many modulations in high dose rates, the step and shoot technique, which stops and irradiates after forming for each area, has been found to be the longest treatment time. In the treatment plans for the nasopharynx and glioblastoma multiforme regions, the best homogeneity(HI) and conformity index (CI) values were obtained by tomotherapy technique. The best homogeneity index for the prostate region was obtained by sliding window technique and the best conformity index was obtained by step and shoot technique. For the pancreas, the best homogeneity index is obtained by tomotherapy, while the best conformity index is obtained by step and shoot technique.
