SUMMARY The purpose of this research is to investigate the possibilty of production of feldspar from the althered granite of Eskişehir-Sancakaya District by magnetic separation and flotation. Chemical analysis of the sample was as fallows, 73.54% Si02, 1.73% Fe203, 3.67% K20, 3.56% Na20, 1.23%CaO,15.11%Al203, 0.32% MgO and 0.16% Ti02. After the magnetic separation and flotation, the chemical composition of feldspar concantrate is as fallows; 75.48% Si02, 14.79% A1203, 0.20% Fe203, 4.25% K20, 4.35% Na20 and trace amount of CaO, MgO and Ti02. The feldspar concantrate met the specifications required in ceramic industry. In this study, principally, it's thought that beneficiation from main product of alkaline feldspar concentrate and by-product of quartz tailing would provide great profit in the country, with magnetic separation and flotation methods. As a result of these studies, economical type low-grade feldspar concentration and benefication of Eskişehir-Sancakaya althered granite must be investigated. 97
