The article focuses on the teacher action research cluster (TARC) project through the collaboration of nine teachers and lecturers from schools and colleges in England. It states that the project aims to build a community of practice in action research for the science education where in teachers are conducting three different collaborative modes in research. It adds that the project can offer science departments and their teachers an innovative and sustainable model in developing professionally.
