The article discusses the author's experiences integrating social bookmarking, social networking, and blogging web sites into the services offered at the academic library of the Institute of Education at the University of Worcester in England. Topics discussed include the customizable online social networking platform Ning, the social bookmarking web site Delicious, and the web portal Netvibes. The results of creating a library Education Network connecting users with library resources, librarians, and one another are discussed.
