An unusual tubular adenoma developed in an organoid nevus on the scalp of a 66-year-old woman. The lobules of tubular structures were formed of two rows of epithelial cells, the luminal ones containing lipid granules and showing microvilli and decapitation secretion. The histochemical and electron microscopic studies revealed features similar to apocrine tissue. Other apocrine adnexal tumors are discussed in relation to this unusual tubular apocrine hidradenoma.
