In a loam pit, which has already been refilled, an outcrop existed encompassing limnic sediments and peat layers. The recovered profile from the outcrop was deepened by a coring at the base of the loam pit. According to the pollen content, stadial conditions predominantly prevailed. In two sections of the profile interstadials were detected, too. The lower interstadial is characterised by taiga-like conditions with open forests at climatically favourable sites consisting of Betula and Pinus. The upper interstadial, even though very weak, could be a time-equivalent of the last interstadial during the Middle Würmian. Furthermore, palynological evidence of aquatic ecosystems are explained and a brief summary of the landscape development in the area is given.
