The article presents a study which aimed to determine whether auditory verbal hallucinations (AVH) are the same phenomenon in the 2 utmost limits of the spectrum. In this study, a comparison of the phenomenology of AVHs in psychotic outpatients with that of healthy individuals was made. Results point to the emotional valence of the content and the frequency of AVH as the most significant differences between AVH in healthy and psychotic individuals.
