This study analyzed the relationship between a focal increase of choroidal thickness and exudative activity of macular neovascularization secondary to pathologic myopia, showing that focal choroidal thickness variations may be considered an interesting corollary sign of macular neovascularization in high myopic patients, indicating the activity of myopic neovascularization.
