In this article the author discusses the ways an executive coach could be developed to integrate and support the senior management team (SMT) for football. He cites the drive and management style of Roy Keane which could be enhanced by learning the relationship between behavioural change and cultural change. The author thinks that any competitive environment may encourage and motivate an executive coach but he cannot be expected to reverse any damage inflicted by a dysfunctional SMT.
