The article discusses research that compared the information available on Emergency Department (ED) Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (ED CAHPS) to information provided on Yelp reviews. It shows how the ED CAHPS survey captures negative patient experiences. It also determines what parts of the experience dissatisfied patients common on most frequently on a less restrictive platform like Yelp.
