The article examines the trends in climate change litigation in the U.S. from 2015 to 2020. It mentions that 33 out of 40 ongoing climate change lawsuits against carbon-intensive companies in the world are in U.S. courts. It cites climate change public trust cases aiming to require state action on greenhouse gases including Juliana et al. v. United States.
