The article presents a study which assesses the soil erosion rates and processes in citrus orchards in Spain. It notes that 10 different orchard sites, all located on the lower slopes, were selected for the experiments after the location of the new citrus orchards has been studied. Rainfall simulation experiments were conducted to examine the processes in citrus orchards. Results show that soil erosion in citrus orchards on lower slopes has a high erosion rates based on simulated rainfall.
