The article presents a case study of a 76-year-old Asian man who was admitted to a hospital because of bloody stool for five days after aortic replacement with vascular prosthesis for rupture of left common iliac artery aneurysm. The patient's abdominal computed tomography scan shows perianeurysmal hematoma caused by the aneurysmal rupture. His colonoscopy reveals a mucosal defect in the sigmoid colon. The article discusses fistula formation between sigmoid colon and perianeurysmal hematoma.
