Ag 3 PO 4 nanodots decorated on the surface of flower-like ZnFe 2 O 4 (hereafter Ag 3 PO 4 /ZnFe 2 O 4 ) were prepared via a solvothermal-liquid-phase deposition method. Ag 3 PO 4 nanoparticles, with approximately 30 nm in size, were evenly dispersed on the surface of ZnFe 2 O 4 nanorods. The Ag 3 PO 4 /ZnFe 2 O 4 sample exhibited higher photocatalytic activity than pure ZnFe 2 O 4 and Ag 3 PO 4 . In addition, the Ag 3 PO 4 /ZnFe 2 O 4 composite is highly stable and can be recovered rapidly using the ferromagnetism of ZnFe 2 O 4 . [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
