An editorial is presented which discusses the importance of systematic reviews as a tool to sum up the evidence for studying the implications of healthcare interventions. Topics include the dependence of systematic reviews on the methods used, the advantage of systematic reviews compared with narrative reviews, and the significant issue that needs to assess in the reviews.
