Dear Editor, Necrobiosis lipoidica (NL) is an uncommon skin disease of unknown B pathogenesis b with an average age at onset of about 40 years. The histopathological evaluation performed after a biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of necrobiosis lipoidica. About 40% of patients with necrobiosis lipoidica have type 2 diabetes.1 Usually, the diagnosis of necrobiosis lipoidica is based on clinical examination; however, it can sometimes be indistinguishable from granuloma annulare, sarcoidosis or other necrobiotic disorders.
