Abstract: A high sensitivity neutrinoless double-beta ( ) decay experiment, KamLAND-Zen, has been taking data since last September using 330kg enriched 136Xe nuclei in Kamioka mine in Japan. The latest results on the half-life of 2ν and the limits on 0ν and Majoron-emitting decay modes obtained from the data corresponding to 38.6 kg yr exposure of 136Xe are reported followed by the current status and future prospects of the KamLAND-Zen.
