The article presents a cross-sectional multicenter study which examined the pattern of multiple human papillomavirus (HPV) infections and related factors in young, sexually active unvaccinated women accessing the public health care system in Brazil. The aim is to determine the characteristics of multiple HPV infections in said population. Also mentioned is the association of cervical cancer and HPV infections.
