The article discusses a study on a manual therapy programme for patients undergoing during radiation therapy for head and neck cancer. The patents have baseline swallow evaluations with speech-language pathology and attended weekly manual therapy sessions during radiation. The results demonstrated the programme's potential to reduce pain, inflammation and contracture. The patients also experienced improvement in mobility.
