Crystal Structure and Dielectric Properties of Pb6Sb2O11 Single Crystals.

X-ray diffraction and dielectric studies of the Pb6Sb2O11 phase are conducted using flux-grown single crystals. The crystal structure of the phase is determined for the first time, the role of the lead lone pair is clarified. In the studied temperature (80-940 K) and frequency (0.1-200 kHz) ranges, the temperature-frequency dependences of the dielectric constant ε and the dielectric loss tangent tanδ show no features characteristic of phase transitions.
