Magnesium oxide nanoparticles were produced by the hydrothermal method; nanoparticles reached 11.1 nm as measured by the Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) membrane impregnated by the casting method with different weight percentages of nano-magnesium oxide doping. Optical properties such as absorbance, maximum wavelength, and energy gap were studied. Calculated from the UV investigation. An FTIR examination was done to confirm the impact of MgO addition on the chemical bonding in PVA films. Electrical properties such as conductivity, mobility, and charge type were calculated using the Hall Effect Tech. An assay (AFM Tech.) was performed to analyze the surface morphology and its effect on conductivity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
