영문초록 : The purpose of this study was to know epitome of motor insurance and operating situation of motor insurance system, and to compare motor insurance system of Korea, and to analyze recognition and insurance system on the insured's motor insurance, and to suggest developmental direction of motor insurance system. The data were collected by questionnaire research through mail or interview with the insured. The analysis was carried to 180 samples for the insured by using SPSS statistical package. The reliability test by Cronbach's Alpha was conducted to examine the conceptual consistency used in questionnaire and the validity test by factor analysis was used to confirm whether the concepts are appropriate to measure or not. Also, statistical methods such as factor analysis, cluster analysis, analysis of variance, simple frequency analysis, and X^2 analysis were used to test the research questions. The results of this study were as follow; First, before the test of research questions performed it cluster analysis by using the factor score that bring out come of factor analysis to the insured. The insured styles has 3 groups, that is, strong group which is subscription oriented on compensation criteria, strong group in degree of compensation service satisfaction, interesting group on degree of insurance system recognition. Second, it was showed significantly relation by sex in demographic characteristics by the insured's cluster. And it was showed significantly relation by motor form in general characteristics by the insured's cluster. Third, characteristics on traffic accident by cluster were not showed significantly relation. Fourth, it was showed significantly relation by agreement recognition in characteristics on insurance subscription by cluster.
