520 b영문초록 : The 94W-3Ni-3Fe powders were applied to the metal injection molding process and the experimental measurements such as powder leading, moldability, binder weight loss. sintered densities and shrinkages were presented to provide the basis for the practical usefulness of this approach. The results obtained from this study are summarized as follows. 1. The spiral length(moldability) of an injected green body decreased, especially remarkable between 41 vol.% and 45 vol.%, with increasing the powder loading in the powder-binder mixture. The critical powder loading in the mix with binder was determined 57 vol.% 2. The relative sintered densities measured from different powder loading at 1500℃ increased parabolically with sintering time and were changed from 95% to 98% after sintering for 3 hrs. To obtain enough density at 1500℃, it was determined that the optimum sintering time was over 2 hrs. 3. The relative sintered densities at 2 hrs sintering increased remarkably in the temperature range of 1400℃ ∼ 1450℃ owing to the formation of liquid phase. The remarkable increase in linear shrinkage appeared in the temperature range between 1300℃ and 1400℃. while the shrinkage increased slowly after formation of liquid phase above 1450℃. 4. With increasing powder loading, tensile strength was increased, hence the hardness was decreased slowly after showing the peak hardness at 1 hr sintering time.
